Dear people,
I am not sure about the rules of the community but I beg for understanding.
If anyone happens to have the text copies of full texts of Tennessee Williams'
- Glass Menagerie
- Streetcar named Desire
- Carousel tune (verse)
- verse about wanderers and witches,
in any format, please could you send it somehow to mefuselah@mail.ru
For over here, in Moscow, it's appeared to be totally impossible to have it without a month's delay, and I need this all right now for a quotation translation in a TV episode.
Thnx in advance.

So, Hi.
I'm Liz, I'm 17 and I live in Glasgow, in Scotland. I hate it here, but that's another long story...
I only discovered Tennessee Williams this year, and I wished I'd done it earlier. For my Advanced Higher English course, in the drama section, we're studying A Streetcar Named Desire and The Glass Menagerie, and I've just fallen in love. I thought I loved Streetcar, but then I read TGM, and now I'm just hooked. I'm even writing volumes and volumes of notes on it in preparation for my exam that I don't really need because I love it so much.
I'm not sure what it is about his writing, but it's just beautiful. Tom's final monologue, especially. It actually makes me melt, I think.
Anyway, I'm a huge Aimee Mann fan as well (she's a wonderful singer-songwriter for anyone out there who hasn't heard of her) and there are loads of parallels between her songs and Williams' work, that I'm only just noticing now. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed that.
I'm also looking for more Williams to read. Anyone got any suggestions for the next play I should go on to?
